Users were imported but the birthright rules didn't trigger when the USerImport Job failed.

The UserImport job failed during to a validation exception for a user. During the import few users were created in Saviynt successfully but the Birthright rules were not triggered. How do we re-trigger the birthright rules for these new users?

We also noticed the user update rules were triggered for the Updated Users during this run and No inactivation was processed.

Although the failure message says it was an issue with only one user, the job has terminated abruptly but not triggering the birthright rules and processing the inactivations. Is this the product behaviour or any implementation gap?

Appreciate any insights.

Thanks.

You can create new dummy rule and fix impacted users

@rushikeshvartak Thanks. Is this the only way to fix the issue in Production? Also, is the UserImport job expected to behave as mentioned above?

  • OOTB you can use execution trail feature if its not there, then dummy birthright rule to manually process

@IDAM09

It is the expected behavior if the job fails or gets stuck.
We created a manual rule and triggering the Birthright rules if they are missed from the import.
