Hi Team,

We are trying to add few more entitlements for the existing account through the modify existing account button and upon completion of request approval, it is creating the Update Account task automatically(Not expected) along with Add access task(Expected).

We are following the below Steps :
Ars->request for access for others->choose user->Choose the application-Choose the Modify Existing account option->Add few more entitlements ->Submit the request.

Once request is approved, it is creating the update account task along with Add access which is not expected and also request type is Modify account but it should be Grant Access .

The same procedure is working for all other applications and update account task is not generating and only add access task and Request type is Grant Access.

We tried all the ways to find what difference/mistake we made for the impacted application but unable to find. Can you please help to find out what else is enabled as extra or anything need to be change so that update account task should not be triggered and request type will be Grant Access only and not Modify Account.

Thanks,
Aravind

  • You may have dynamic attributes for application
  • Dynamic attributes value if its changed and getting stored in accounts properties then update account task will be created.
  • if you don’t want dynamic attributes to be stored in custom properties of account then remove account column mapping from dynamic attributes
