Salesforce OOTB conditional check on target column

Hi,

We have implemented 2 salesforce connection to a target system ,In target 'identifier'  field is an unique attribute. We have 2 endpoints which connect to same target system. From ARS user selects EP1 ,role1 and selects EP2 ,role2 and the provisioning tasks are created for account1 / account2. However one of the EP related account creation request gets failed because of unique field issue. In such scenario is there an option to perform the check that if 'identifier' column field in target already for any user keep the identifier field blank to process the request?

Hello @Anu,

What the business justification for having two endpoint for the same target system, Its obvious that if the create account task created from the EP1 and then again if sameuser request from EP2 it the task will fail , as the target remains same. You shouldn't create the multiple accounts for the same user.

Thanks.

@sudeshjaiswal The current target application is designed to have multiple user accounts with unique usernames . Example for EP1 the provisioning attributes would have username with different suffix and EP2 will have user name with different suffix. We only want to handle a scenario for 'identifier'(this attribute has to be unique). In Salesforce connector is it possible to have a logic that if identifier with xyz value already exists for any user keep it blank for the second user?

Hello @Anu,

Currently, this is not supported.

Thanks.
