Reminder approval email went to approver even if request was disconitnued

Hi,

A request raised by customer. and request was assigned to manager approval for 1st stage approval. 

then requestor contacted us to cancel the request as it was not required. as per there ask we have discontinued the request by backend query - 

update ars_requests set STATUS=6 where REQUESTKEY=

. now the issue is system is still sending the reminder email to approver. could you please help us here?

Hi @WeAreVoid , does the request still show in request pending page??

no request is showing as discontinued

but inside it is showing as pending for approval at manager stage

@WeAreVoid mostly likely that is the reason.

May I know why didi you use discontinued option from UI?

• Request should be discontinued from UI.
• If you perform activity from query then dependent all tables needs to be updated.
• access_approvers and other jbpm table needs to be update.
• Please reopen request and discontinue from UI.
