To my knowedge it is not possible but just wanted to confim if it possible some how

Use case-
If some request came to manager for approval and if manager need any clarification or confirmation from requester, can the manager redirect the request to requester for clarification rather rejectting the request and asking requester to re-submit in the rejection comments.

Something similar to consult option we have in campaign.

As an approver, you can either modify approvers by sending the approval request to a different person (but not the requestor) or modify the request itself.

Hi,

1. Can the requester modify the request from request history. If yes then what config changes required to enable the same.

2. As an approver I can see the modify reuest option from Request Approval page. Please suggest any config changes required.

We are using V2021

Enable Allow Request Update option from SAV role assigned to approver / Requestor

Thanks for the suggestions. Now i can modify the request as an requester from the request history page. Could you please also suggest how to enable modify request as an approver.

Same config for both. Check sav role assigned to approver

Allow Request Update

Select this parameter to enable or disable the user to modify requests in the Request Approval and Request History page.

  • On - Assigned user has the authority to modify open ARS request in ARS > Request Approval or Request History page by clicking ModifyRequest. Clicking on Modify Request discontinue the current request and recreates the request by taking the user to step 2 of Request Access with all the items added to cart as the previous discontinued requests.

  • Off - The assigned user is not authorized to modify open ARS requests.

Hi Rushikesh,

As an approver i see only Approve/Reject/Discontenue option after enabling "Allow Request Update"  on all the SAV roles which are assigned to the approver.

Saviynt version.

Does your approver having conflicting sav ( more than one sav role)

Try keeping only one.

Thanks Rushikesh. Its working.

Hi Rushikesh,

One additional question

Is modify request option only applicable to account request(Add New Account/Modify Account..etc) and not the user request(create user/update user)
