Read-Only Admin SAV Role - Workflows and Policies

Hi Everyone,

We implemented a Read Only Admin SAV role in our lower environments to test the functionality before moving to Production for our team to maintain Admin access while it remaining read-only. We encountered an issue (Admin-Identity Repository) where the list of workflows we have and policies (e.g., User Update Rules, Technical Rules) are not showing and instead says "No Data Available".

When creating this SAV role we copied the existing Admin Role and turned the Read-Only option on. In the feature access tab the features for workflows and rules are there with the correct URLs but are not showing when selected for some reason.

Does anyone know why this might be happening? Is there any additional setting we need to select to view these options?

Hi @mrs_24207

To make the existing list of workflows visible to the user having the READ ONLY SAV ROLE, Please login with admin user and go to SAV Role->Go to workflow tab and select and the add the workflows (which you want to make visible) to the READ ONLY SAV ROLE. When you login with the user with the assigned SAV ROLE those workflows will be visible in existing list of workflows.

Hi @Dhruv_S ,

Thanks for your response! This worked and now the workflows are showing but we are still unable to see policies. Any ideas on how to get them to display?

Go to policy and add users as Rule owner. Those users should be part of the new SAV role that you have created.

@mrs_24207

can you follow this and let us know if it helps for WF:

1. Create SAV role

2. ADD user to SAV role

3. Create a user group and add all these users to this group who are part of SAV role

4. Add this user group as owner in WF
