Queries on Analytics file download

Hi,

1. After running an analytics report and downloading the file in CSV format, the file contains an additional character(') before phone numbers. How can we avoid this?

Excel format file contains the right values(without any additional characters)

2. Can we exclude the header of file generated from Analytics report?

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,

Harish

Hi @HarishG ,

Tried it in 24.1. Its the same behaviour. Due to '+', (') is automatically added. Try without +, the results are without quote.

Regarding attachment of analytic report results in the email template, there is no way to change/update the format. Only the result is based on the query.

#1 Excel is treating the column values as formulas because they start with the + operator. Excel interprets values starting with certain characters (like +, -, =, @, etc.) as formulas.

#2 You can't exclude headers Please submit idea ticket

Thanks @rushikeshvartak,

I will submit an idea for #2.

Regarding #1 : it is fine with having ' in excel file. But the CSV file which we download from Actions also contains this additional character '

Is there any way to avoid this in csv file? because according to the business requirement, we are exporting this csv file directly from analytics to SFTP location.

No we can't edit anything in csv generated

Hi @HarishG

As Discussed,

try to remove the + in the analtyics query and that should solve your issue as a work around.

Thanks
