Multiple emails sent from Saviynt to end user.

Hi,

We have recently migrated to v23.7. We have observed an issue, where Saviynt EIC is sending an email every 5 minutes.

The email template is configured to trigger from an "Update Rule" which will send joiner information to the manager. The rule has triggered only once for the joiner, but the manager keeps receiving email every 5 minutes.

This issue is being faced for only 1 email template. Please advice if any configuration needs to be checked here.

Can you provide more details? Is this issue faced by only single user or all managers are receiving emails every 5 min?

Additionally, can you provide screenshot of your User Update Rule config and also how frequently the email history job is scheduled?

Hi @prasannta,

We have observed this issue for 2 users whose managers are receiving multiple mails with same subject and body.

The email history job is scheduled to run every 5 minutes. We can see these 2 manager's email in the "emailhistory" table and it shows the same subject also, could this cause any issues because user's keep receiving email every 5 minutes.

Is it only 1 email which is being delivered with same subject and content?

The multiple emails are sent for new joiners to their managers respectively. This issue is observed for 2 such users which we can see in "emailhistory" table also. Could that be related because email is being sent every 5 minutes and the records are present in "emailhistory" table or could it be due to some other issue?

We have recently migrated to v23.7 post which this issue has been observed.
