We are using Saviynt app on ServiceNow where the end users raise the access requests for an application, approval takes place within ServiceNow. Once approved the request is sent to Saviynt for fulfillment. On Saviynt side we have a placeholder workflow to avoid auto approval of requests but rely on Saviynt app for ServiceNow to read the approval for access requests to generate tasks in Saviynt to complete provisioning. But right now we are experiencing issues with the partial approval handling functionality.
Problem:
- The flow is not dynamically handling approvals for each group request.
- If 2 groups are requested in a single RITM request, and those 2 groups have different approver groups mapped to them, supposing one requested group is approved and other is rejected by the approver groups, Saviynt app on ServiceNow is still sending approved to Saviynt for both the groups requested.
- As a result, multiple group requests are not getting processed correctly.
Expected Behavior:
Saviynt app on ServiceNow should dynamically handle the approval process for each group request, ensuring that:
- Each requested group is sent to its respective approver group.
- Approval from any one of the approvers within the approver group should suffice.
- Approval of a group from an approver group should affect approval/rejection of only that group.
- Upon approval, Saviynt should provision access to the approved groups only.
We need assistance in configuring or troubleshooting the approval workflow in Saviynt app on ServiceNow to ensure that multiple group requests are handled dynamically and appropriately routed to the respective approver groups.
