Issue while modifying the request

Hi Team,

I am facing issue while trying modifying the request of users.
New account request has no issue.

After creating New account and running recon job(Access import and Accounts import), Modifying the same account would lead into disappearing of already existing entitlements.(screenshot attached)

Entitlement hierarchy of the user shows the existing entitlement.(Screenshot attached)

Please provide a solution how to fix such issues.

Is your request option for entitlement type is of type dropdown, if yes then it will remove existing entitlement.

The entittlement type is of table. Is there any way to fix the issue while modifiying.

It seems your json is returning success but its not provisioning access in reality in target

If I am selecting 4 entitlements for the user then all those 4 entitlements gets into the target DB.

I am attaching screenshots of:
1) Entitlements associated with the user

2) The same device name(Machine name) is present in DB(Target)

3) Only when I go and try UPDATE/MODIFY account, the existing ENT/device name gets wiped out.

Please provide a fix for this issue.



@pravisha  any requestble entiltment configured inside entitlement type ?

can you share ent type config inside

No, @Raghu There is none inside Ent config.

 

@pravisha  for this application alone can you change format of display table to other format like drop down or check box  try pro and modify will see

@Raghu- There are nearly 22k device name. Users can have one or more devices.
I tried with changing format to drop down, but with drop down option we can't SELECT multiple entitlement for the user.

@Raghu- checkbox will not appear good on request form, as there are thousands of device name.

@pravisha  For workaround you can test it as of now , it will work na then infm same to Saviynt

  • Validate below
  • under Entitlement - entitlement are active
  • while raising request entitlement still assigned to active.
  • Under Entitlement Type Configuration - There is no filter for ‘Config for selected Entitlements on ARS’

@rushikeshvartak - There were duplicate Ent along with status none>
Hence, they were all made INACTIVE.

Tried to raise request with Active Ent and issue still remains.

As suggested, validated entitlement type config:

Follow below steps

  • Click on sort option on selected Entitlements Section.
  • and share logs

On verifying ENTITLEMENTVALUEIMPORT in connection, we have added alias.
When removed alias ev1 with entitlementvalue and etkey1 with entitlementtype- fixed the issue.

Now, we are able to Modify the entitlement in the user form even when entitlement type is of "Table" format.

Root cause was entitlement where not able to pull back due to wrong query
