Is it possible to add the access to the Inactive accounts through Technical rules

Hi Everyone,

I need some info from you all, Your reply will be really appreciated.

We are upgrading to 24.5 version.

Is it possible to add access to the inactive accounts in 24.5 version through Technical rule.

Hi @Ashir,

No, technical rule will not create task for inactive accounts.

But create a user update rule which will trigger selected technical rule (with below setup same order)

This will first create enable account task and then also create add access task. The same is working for me in 24.5v.

@PremMahadikar  the above setup working on version 24.5 correct? Could you please verify one more time and confirm. 

Yes its working in v24.5 But make sure task execution hierarchy is enabled from global configuration so enable account task get processed first

This works in both 24.5 & 24.7 version as confirmed by me and other engineers.

Please test it once your system is upgraded.

Hi @Ashir , it won't create a for inactive accounts 

But what you can do, create an enable account task with user update rule and then use analytics to add the access.

Validated in 24.4 and 24.5 it's working perfectly.

Perform enable account and then add access
