Hi Everyone,

we have a requirement where we need to import usergroups from AD and create usergroups in AD from Saviynt.

We can create entitlements through Saviynt with membership but can sav4sav connector as a workaround to import entitlements as usergroups. If yes, how?

Regards,

Shubham

So the requirement is to create groups in AD through Saviynt.

Those are treated as entitlements in Saviynt. so planned to create entitlements in Saviynt which can then be created in AD.

As those are usegroups, is it possible to create usergroups from those entitlements which we have created in Saviynt or imported through AD through Sav4sav connection?

In order to use AD Group management,. In Saviynt, you need to create roles with the Entitlement role type which further get created as entitlement under AD Endpoint.

Creating user groups via import will not trigger AD Group creation

@shubhamj596 Did you check this Configuring Group Management (saviyntcloud.com) for configuring group Management?

Also when you have imported the usergroups (sav for Sav integration) those would be treated as entitlement, Anyhow this is not going to perform any AD group creation.
