Changing attribute label and format

Dear community,

Our project is not going to use the property "Comment" located in User Details tab. This is a built-in field with string format.

We would like to release this property to be reused in a new requirement. Is there any way to change its LABEL and also its FORMAT?

Many thanks in advance!

Kind regards,

Francisco J.

Label can be changed for the field. I am not sure if you should use this as this comment is used by Saviynt in some OOTB use cases , one click disable is one where comment field will be updated.

Hi @FranciscoS ,

As mentioned in above comment, We use the comment field in users table for few OOTB features like one click disable. However, is there any specific requirement to use comments field by changing it's label?? We have many custom property fields which you can use for this purpose, do we have any roadblocks to do so?

Thanks,

Hi @pruthvi_t @dgandhi ,

We would like to not use another CP (with the constraint that they are limited). We have already used a lot of them and we are afraid about the fact of reaching the total. So that is why we were wondering about reusing standard built-in attributes that we are not populating with any of our connections.

Could you let me know whether a reference document exists to check what is the purpose of these built-in properties, please?

Many thanks!

Kind regards

If you have already utilized many Customproperty then change logic of customproperty and store multiple values in same customproperty for example.

@FranciscoS ,

Can you elaborate on what exactly is the business requirement here for which you're looking to edit and reuse the comments column.

Thanks,
