If a user enters Business Justification while making a new account request we see it's not shown in the request history nor visible to the approver. But that's on the entitlement request it is visible. Could someone please help here if Business Justification can only used while making an access request? we see Business Justification entered on the request_access table but why is it not visible on the UI

Hi @Mareetta ,
Thanks for contacting the Saviynt forums.
Business Justification is coupled with individual entitlements for a normal access request wherein a requestor can provide the business purpose for requesting that specific entitlement.
Comments is coupled with the request as a whole. It provides the requestor an option to summarize the request details.

You can set the business justification needed or not at the below configuration:
global configuration > Request > Setting > Business justification required (Request Level)
When you select the option " Both (at request level and SOD violation level)" comments are mandatory for the overall request.
Business justification required (Request Level) | Select the appropriate option to set the mandatory Comments window while submitting a request for an entitlement or role with SOD violations. The following options are available:

Hi Dhruv,
Thank you for the detailed information. What we are trying to understand is when a user enters a justification while submitting a new account it will not be considered? we don't see it on the request history at all.

Hi @Mareetta, comments are considered and visible to approver for the account request. Business justification and comments for entitlement requests.
