Avoid generating systemUserName for new users in Saviynt

Is there any way to prevent Saviynt from automatically generating systemUserName on new users entering Saviynt from a HR source? The identity information is being sourced from Workday RaaS reports via a REST connection. Is there any configuration in the product to prevent the generation of systemUserName while importing new users from Workday?

The goal is to have Saviynt generate the network ID for new users and populate systemUserName so that the user update policy can trigger a writeback of the network ID to Workday.

Alternatively, to track network ID changes happening outside Saviynt IGA, I would like to generate network ID on CP41 for new users, provision the new AD account using CP41, then import users from AD to get the sAMAccountName on CP42 which would trigger a writeback to Workday. Subsequent user import will then source the network ID from Workday RaaS reports via REST connection to update systemUserName.

systemusername is automatically generated when your global configurations has a Systemusername generation rule setup :

If you have this setup, then its the expected behavior and we cannot override it for specific connections/ user imports
