Analytics Application Option in Runallanalyticsjob

Hi Team,
We would like to understand what this option does really in the RunAnalyticsjob? We tried in the documention portal but not nothing much .

Analytics Application - Select applications for which you have access to via SAV Role > Access to Endpoints.

This helps in performing endpoint filtering for non-elasticsearch controls.

Note

Though RunAllAnalytics job executes both elasticsearch and non-elasticsearch based controls, the Analytics Application field is specific only for non-elasticsearch controls.

since we don't use v1(non-ES) reports this field is of no use.
