altering dataset_values table columns size

Hi All,

We are trying to use Dataset for 1 of our requirements and we could see the max size of columns in dataset_values table is varchar(255). Is there any way we can increase this limit?

Please let us know more about your use case and why it is necessary to alter the size of dataset_values table columns

Hi @DixshantValecha, we want to use the dataset as lookup table to store long information like email ids, addresses, UI configurations and SQL queries.

These lookup values then can be used in placeholder we have in our backend code (connected with saviynt using native APIs) and the size of lookup value can go up to 3000 characters.
