Hi Guys

As per Saviynt Active directory connector documentation, Saviynt supports only 2012 and 2016 versions of AD. But, 2012 seems to be end of life and we are planning to migrate to 2022 version. So, will Saviynt  (23.11) support this in its current setup? If not, whats the plan for 2022 support?

Supported Software Versions (saviyntcloud.com)

Regards

Gaurav

There wont be major change on configuration on 2016 vs 2022, You can raise feature request for 2022

Thanks @rushikeshvartak . Whats a feature request? do i need to request Saviynt support team to provide necessary documentation for 2022 wherever applicable for AD/ADSI connector?

OR its an Idea request which will go into pipeline and take time to support 2022 for Ad/ADSI connector?

You can provide feedback on documentation page. Ideally documentation mention minimum version supported later all version are supported only explicitly if there are no major changes.

@GauravJain
We have Implemented ADSI in 2016 and 2022, and there is no difference.

The known issue in the ADSI connecter.

1. ADSI cannot establish the entitlements-to-owner relationship. (It can populate the value in CP values)
          An enhancement has been created for this already.
2. ADSI will only accept the lowercase of AD attributes in ACCOUNT_ATTRIBUTE, groupImportMapping.

Hi - can you also confirm about ".NET Framework 4.5 and ASP.NET 4.5 version" . can we use higher versions as well?

i have raised this query to saviynt documentation team but they say they have tested ADSI with 4.5 version.
