Actionable Analytics "Accept" action

Hi Team,

We are having below two questions regarding actionable analytics.

  • Consider we need to create an actionable analytics for fetching accounts and its privileged entitlements with two actions: ‘Accept’ and ‘Deprovision Access’.
  • This report needs to be scheduled to run on a daily basis.
  • Suppose when the report ran today, we get 10 accounts record as an output.
  • Out of those 10 accounts, we manually select 'Accept' for 2 accounts and 'Deprovision Access' for another 2 accounts.
  • Now when this same report is ran tomorrow, the 2 accounts which were marked as 'Accept' still show in the output and are grayed out.

Question 1: Is it possible to ensure that items which were already marked as 'Accept' should not be visible at all in the next report run?

  • Consider we run the same report for the first time and we get 10 records as output. An email notification will be triggered to Operations team with the output. Consider no action was taken by Operations team in that report in Saviynt on any of these accounts.
  • Tomorrow when the report is run, there will be same 10 records as output since there were no new accounts having privileged access. Here since there were no records, DO NOT send any email notification to Operations team.
  • Day after tomorrow, when we run the report, we got 12 records as output.(10 old records + 2 new records)

Since there were 2 new records in the output, an email notification needs to be triggered to Operations team.

Question 2: Is it possible to trigger an email notification only when there are new entries coming in the report output?

Kindly provide your thoughts on these.

Best Regards,

Kushal

  • Q1: Either you can send email or not. You can't decide on output of report.
  • Q2 No
