To perform Segregation of Duties (SOD) analysis with Salesforce and Saviynt, the following data needs to be imported from Salesforce:

  1. User Data: Import all user accounts to track user access and entitlements.
  2. Profiles and Permission Sets: These define what actions users can perform in Salesforce.
  3. Roles: Salesforce roles that determine the user's visibility over data.
  4. Object and Field Permissions: Controls for which objects and fields users can access.
  5. Audit Data: Logs or reports to track changes and access violations.

This data allows Saviynt to assess and manage SOD violations effectively.

Thank you, Do we have any documentation for Salesforce SOD works

Also, I need to know how we can ensure read-only access to the Salesforce environment without importing any transactional customer data.

There is no specific document related to sales force sod you can ask app team to provide sod matrix
