Timeframe configuration for Mitigation Control in Request Approval page

Hi Team,

In the request approval page when the approver selects Mitigation Control to a conflict, is adding the timeframe of the mitigation control is a default setting or we can add/remove this configuration? If yes then how can we add/remove this?  attached a screenshot from documentation portal for reference.
