SAP EHP Integration

Hi All,

Currently we are planning for an SAP EHP implementation with Saviynt. We know that Saviynt do have OOTD connection can be use but there are few questions we would like to seek for advice.

1. In client SAP EHP, they do have role required to assign for user profile. However, we are not able to see the grant access JSON from the connection. May I know does this means that the role assignment for SAP integration is handling from Saviynt backend?

2. We have a requirement from client that during user termination we need to perform update on role valid date, account valid date, and lock user SAP profile. Based on Saviynt documentation, we are able to perform role valid date update, but it's not stated is it possible to perform the account valid date update and lock user profile. May I know is this doable on SAP connection?

Thank in advanced.

Hi Rushikesh,

1. We have not implemented the connection yet, so we are not sure on the current behavior. But we did not see the grant access JSON from the connection, so we would like to know if we want to apply some logic on the role assignment is it possible?

2. Yes, we know that we can call update account task with rule or analytics, but we would like to know is it possible to perform the action lock profile and update profile's valid date to SAP via connection. Because in documentation we do not find any information or parameter we can use for this two action.

Thanks.

  • Sap internally call add/ remove access json hence you need validate behavior
  • as per standard sap connector no
