Use Case

Import of OpenLDAP accounts does not import DN/DistinguishedName to AccountID

As part of the OpenLDAP connector reconciliation, we are trying to bring in the OpenLDAP accounts back to Saviynt. As part of the configuration, we have configured the following attribute mapping in the connector configuration. Though all the attributes are reflected correctly in the Saviynt only DintinguishedName (DN) is not copied/Imported to AccountID, even though it's part of the Account_Attribute mapping configuration.

Solution

OpenLDAP DN attribute is a reference-only attribute. The actual attribute name where the LDAP DN value is stored is "entrydn". After mapping the ACCOUNT_ATTRIBUTE field with "entrydn", the SSM attribute value is populated correctly with the LDAP DN value after the import.
