How How to upload Custom Jar in v2021.x and above version?

Pre-requisites

1. All dependent jars required for execution of the custom jar are included in the custom jar itself.

2. Jar is compiled using JDK 1.8.

Applicable Version(s)

v2021.x and Above

Solution

1. Login to SSM.
2. Go to following path Admin > Settings > File Directory > Click on 'External JARs'.
3. Click on Upload New File. Select the jar from local system and click on upload.
4. The jar upload is successful message will pop up.
5. Wait for one min. ( The git checking polling will happen every 5 sec. so on safer side just put 1 min wait time).
6. Do a server restart by clicking on Admin > Admin Functions > Application Restart -> Restart All Services.
7. Click on Yes.                                                        
8. Wait for 20 to 30 mins to jar to get reflected in SSM.
