Unable to view accounts with newly created SAV Role

Hi Team,

We have created one new SAV role for L2 team.

Added this new sav role in the connection so that members of the sav role can view account / entitlement of that Ep/SS/Connection.

But there are few endpoints for which connections are not mapped. This is based on business requirement.

The question is how accounts / entitlement from this endpoints (where connection is not mapped) will be visible to the newly created SAV role?

Thanks

Devang

Hi @dgandhi ,

1 option could be you can create 1 connection of type disconnected and add the sav role to this and add this conn to ss.

If you might have seen v23.x version, EIC now provides you to crate a connection with naming convention AOB_* of Connection type Disconnected.

Hi @Manu269

Thanks for your update. Yes if we add connection and add SAV role in that connection , it should work. But looking for another option without adding connection to it.

Looking for solution in 5.5 only.

Hi @Dave @Rishi

Can you please confirm if adding sav role in the connection is mandatory to view account?

Thanks

Only option to view account is map connection to Security system and add default sav role in connection. Only this accounts , Security System and Endpoint are controlled.

In case of disconnected application you can create dummy connection and map to all existing security systems
