systemusername is getting updated with last name details

Hi,

This is with reference to Saviynt users who are onboarded through UI. When we onboard a user with First and Last name, the systemusername will be a combination of first and lastname and the email address is generated according to that.

Currently when we onboard a user through Saviynt UI, account name is getting updated with the last name alone and not a combination of first and last name.

Hi @nsapna , account name is specific to an endpoint.

In the endpoint you will have an option to add account name rule ..and you can utilise that.

If this helped you move forward, click 'Kudos'. If it solved your query, select 'Accept As Solution'

Hi ,

accountname is not specific to endpoint because we onboard the user first and post that endpoint will be provisioned

So systemname or accountname is system generated when a user is onboarded for the first time.

Thanks

Sapna

@nsapna did you configure a rule to generate systemusername in global configuration.. if so what is that?

@nsapna as it is a string whatever user will add at the time of creation it will get populated.

You can construct using SQl enum

If this helped you move forward, click 'Kudos'. If it solved your query, select 'Accept As Solution'

  • String is user input based, if user add last name that will be system username
  • if you need combination of first name & last name use single select sql query option in dynamic attribute

Hi @nsapna are you referring to username or systemusername?

In previous comment you mentioned account name.

Because account name is specific to an endpoint.
