Service Now Integration

Hi Everyone,

We are integrating Service Now as Authoritative source (user creation) and we are using it as ticketing tool. We have plans in future to onboard it as a connected application (to request access or accounts)

Now the question is when we setup each connection for auth source and ticketing tool can we use the same system account or we need to create different system id for each use cases like one for Auth source connection and one for ticketing tool ?

Is if fine if we use the same system account for all the connection we configure in Saviynt.

  • You can use same details.
  • But it’s advisable that separate credentials to avoid locking through one connector so other configuration works smoothly
