Hi Everyone ,

I have a requirement of creating a ticket in service now when tasks are failing in Saviynt.
So for this requirement can we use Service Desk connection at security system level?
if So , how can we trigger this service desk connection exactly ?
is there any documentation ?

Thanks,
Nagateja Ksheersagar.

Hi @Nagateja_K , you have to create a custom jar as you don't have to create a task for specific application but for all the task which got failed.

If this helped you move forward, click 'Kudos'. If it solved your query, select 'Accept As Solution'

  • Currently service desk connection is used for creating ticket when task is open state.
  • if task fail then you can’t create ticket.
  • here is high level workarounds
  • You can create report to reopen the failed tasks.
  • if you aim is to create ticket only then create report of failed tasks then read it from custom extension and create ticket
  • currently OOTB its not supported hence raise idea ticket for enhancement
