Hello,

We have requirement to install password sync filter. However DC machine is 2016 server core so msi installation won't work unless it has command line options.

Is there any way to install in on server core? or it only supports Windows Server 2012 R2 (64-bit) and later running Active Directory.

Thanks,

Poonam

Hi @poonammhetre ,

Greetings.

Please refer to the below documentation as it provides the prerequisites to be met to install the password filter.

Thanks,

Hi Pruthvi,

We are aware about the pre-requisites on Saviynt documentation. Only after reading it we raised this forum. Below is a pre-requisite for Password Filter.

  • A Windows Server 2019 (64-bit) and later running Active Directory.

All domain controllers are on Windows Server 2016.

Question: What are the options if client has windows servers earlier than 2019? If we install password filter on Windows Server 2016, will it still work and supported by Saviynt?

Regards,

Vivek

It may work but not supported by saviynt.
