how to change the user naming rule for onboarded application

we got a request from stakeholder to update the user naming rule. we are unsure how to move forward with this request.  we have below challenges:

1. what we can do with the existing accounts that created with old naming rule

2. how the behavior of the system will be

  • You can keep existing accounts name as it is 
  • for new accounts you can change account name rule under Endpoint.
