Hi,

When changing the display language of the user interface to Chinese (Simplified) or other languages, on the create user page custom attributes language is not changed and on the create new organization page Custom Properties or labels language name also does not change.

 Before Language Change:

After Language Change:

How can we change all the text present on the Saviynt UI Page and change the context of labels when changing the language of the user interface?

Regards,

Satwik.

Hi @Satwik

Thanks for reaching out to forums.

As confirmed with Product team, label translation for custom properties is not done by the product automatically and it is left to the customer to change the labels from the label management from UI branding.

Also, some of the fields in all the forms (create user, create endpoint etc.) don't get translated if the label name for that particular field has been changed in the recent release. They are considered for the translation and get updated every 6 months. However, you can change them from UI branding -label change, it should get immediately translated.

Hi @Dhruv_S

when changing the display language of the user interface, is there any way to change the Custom Properties or label names automatically instead of changing them from UI branding -to label change?

Satwik

Hi @Satwik

For custom properties, you need to do from UI branding label or SAV ROLEUIAdmin only.

For everything else, you can change the language for the logged in user from the profile->Language as below screenshot. however as mentioned earlier, there will be some fields which won't translate. For them, you need to do it from UI branding label only.

If this reply answered your question, please accept it as Solution to help others who may have a similar problem.

You need to update labels in user branding automatically it will not update. For request form attributes localization is not supported. You can create dynamic attributes per language and ask user to select language on request form as a workaround
