Hi,

The global configuration under analytics section show query and edit query option is unchecked by default. Is there any risk by enabling this option in Production instance?

There is no risk. You can enable it . As during saving analytics it will popup columns / filters to be selected hence you can enable

If this helped you move forward, click 'Kudos'. If it solved your query, select 'Accept As Solution'.

Thanks for your response @rushikeshvartak .

I didn't quiet get this " As during saving analytics it will popup columns / filters to be selected hence you can enable ". Could you please elaborate?

When create or update existing analytics report before saving report it asks columns to be selected hence clicking on show query does not harm anything

Hi @IDAM09 ,

To be more clear -

Once you enable the below:

Show Query:

What will happen if you disable it? You don't see the query in the analytics once its created.

Edit Query:

What will happen if you disable it? Even though you click on 'Edit' -> You can't edit the query. (Below screenshot, you could notice - Query is greyed out and couldn't be edited)

For sure, no risk and always good to enable both the configuration.

If this helps , Please consider selecting Accept As Solution and hit Kudos
