Hello Team,

We are under the configuration of SMTP mail server and getting following error while doing test connection.

Please find the error while doing SMTP test connection:

@nkashyap : Can you share the screenshot of your SMTP Configuration with masked values. This issue generally comes when SMTP details doesn't match like wrong smtp address details or Email address used in smtp configuration is not associated with SMTP server etc.

@nkashyap : Configure Email Address field and see if the issue resolves. Use the email address that is associated to respective SMTP and from which you want to send notification emails

We are giving a valid corporate user email [ firstname.lastname@domain.com ] in email field and getting the error.

Can you please elaborate more on email for any criteria for the email type. I mean what kind of email we need to provide in email field.

@nkashyap : What is the new error after using valid email address? Check if your SMTP details are valid or not?

The 'Email From ID' value is configured with an invalid email address. If the mail server is not configured to authenticate the user's credential, then mail server will use the 'Email From ID' to send out the Email Notification. Make sure this 'Mail from ID' value has a valid email address.
