Hi All,

Can you advise if Azure AD connector alone(without rest connector) support both provisioning and reconciliation.

Version: EIC v24.2

if yes, can you point me the doc URL as I see every where provisioning is with rest connector and recon through Azure AD connector

Hi @srikanth1202

From 23.11 version onwards, Azure AD connector is enhanced to support provisioning and deprovisioning.

Please refer to below from 23.11 release notes.

The existing AzureAD connector is enhanced to provision accounts and access in addition to importing accounts and entitlements and also to import users.

For more information, see the following topics in the Azure AD Integration Guide:

Also please refer to the below link where it is mentioned how the provisioning can also be done with Azure AD.

Configuring the Integration for Provisioning and Deprovisioning (saviyntcloud.com)

From Release v23.10 onwards, to create a connection, specify AzureAD as the connection type, and provide values for the required connection and configuration parameters. For more information, see Connection Parameters for Account and Group Import and Configuring Provisioning Operations.

I have tried with AD azure through design module but it is creating two connections for Rest and another Azure AD for Import. Means Azure connector requires two connections for both Prov and import

Design module requires update in this case please raise idea ticket for same
