Hello @Raghu - Great question!

Actually, "Visitor" and "All-Star" are two separate things that have nothing in common with each other. I will explain each briefly below:

When someone first joins the community, they are a "Visitor". Then after participating on the forums they become an "Explorer" and later a "New Contributor" and more. There are actually 30 different ranks that someone can become.

Each of these ranks are tied to various forum activities, like authoring new forum posts, replies, solutions (both giving and receiving), kudos (both giving and receiving), and more! These ranks are  automatically assigned by the forum software based on forum activity.

Note: We are in the process of re-vamping these ranks. In the near future we will be changing the requirements for each and giving each a fun new name.

The Saviynt Community Forums "All-Star" program is a separate program. Twice a year we evaluate the most active forum participants. For example, who is providing the most solutions? Who is getting the most kudos? Who has already been active on the forums for an extended amount of time?

Those are the people we invite to join the All-Star program.

Being a member of the All-Star program includes a separate forum board where they can communicate directly with Saviynt employees and more. We hold quarterly meetings with the All-Stars where we roll-out new Saviynt technologies, processes, and procedures. And provide opportunities for the All-Stars to give their feedback directly to the Saviynt team.

We want to keep the All-Star program small. Right now there are only seven members. It won't get much larger than that. Twice a year we evaluate if any All-Stars have stopped participating on the forums. If so, they may be removed from the All-Star program and someone else may take their place. Being active on the forums is a requirement to being an All-Star.

Hopefully that answers your question. If you want to become an All-Star, just keep being helpful to other forum users and knowledgeable about the product.

Best regards,
Dave
