It is Best Practice to send email to the guest user to remind him that action needs to be taken for them to register themselves
Short Description
As part of Guest user Onboarding, the email notification will go the guest user from EIC for them to register themselves in EIC. If the user has not taken action after a certain number of days, it is recommended to send a reminder to them

Detail best practice
- Include the requestor's information in the email (Sponsor) so that the Guest user can contact them. Use these parameters
${requestedby.firstname} ${requestedby.lastname} (${requestedby.email})
- Include the time, when the link will expire so that the Guest User knows that the link will become invalid after sometime. The setting for the number of days after which link expires can be configured in global configurations under Identity Life cycle. After configured number of days send reminder email that request will expire. This can be configured at the workflow for the Create/Update User. If the config is set to expire the link for 5 days, it is recommended to send the invitation on the 4th day. (Refer screenshot)
Example: This link will expire in 1 day.
- Include the Number of times the Guest user can click on the link. The setting for this can be configured in global configurations under Identity Life cycle
Example: This link can only be clicked 5 times.
- Include the name of your organizations so that the GUEST USER does not think of it as a spam
Example: This email is Originating from Saviynt IAM "Customer" environment.
- The TO field in the email template will be the dynamic attribute where email is mapped for example if the dynamic attribute email is created and it is mapped to email in saviynt. the To field will be ${email} as the User is still not created in Saviynt and is on the process of creation.

The Guest user will have clear directions and will know that the link will expire after a certain try or days and can contact the sponsor in case of any questions if the sponsor details are mentioned.
