Problem Statement:

While requesting access for a user using the Request Access for Others tile, the accesses assigned through the Birthright rule (Technical rule) for the user are not shown.

Possible Cause:

This can occur if the Exclude Entitlements Assigned via Rule while Request parameter is enabled for an entitlement type.

Resolution:

Perform the following actions:

  1. Log in to EIC as an administrator user.
  2. Click Admin > Identity Repository > Security Systems > Endpoints.
  3. Click the required Endpoint Name from Endpoint List.
  4. Go to the Entitlement Type tab, click View Details for the required Entitlement Type to navigate to the Entitlement Type details page.Screenshot 2023-03-01 at 12.05.58 PM.png
