Short Description -
We have options to set values 1-10 minutes in reminder due option in approval node in a workflow . The reminder values set in minutes can cause the reminder emails to sent unexpectedly. For example if email history job is set for longer time difference they will be a big backlog if reminder is set for minutes.
Detailed best practice
The email reminder due date option in a workflow provides option to mention the values in minute and days.
Recommendation is to not use the reminder value in minutes. Make it part of your checklist for product deployment. Sometimes we select the values in minutes for testing in Non prod env and that gets migrated to Prod env if its not verified during the production deployment.

We end up by modfying the WF in xml mode.
