Hi Team,

How to trigger technical rule, apart from using re run technical rule from update rule and running detective provisioning rule and zero day provisioning. Is there any other way.

Thanks,

Srinivas

Hi @Srinivas_N , at the time of user import it will run automatically if you have enabled check rules.

Otherwise mentioned above are the only way.

Hi @Srinivas_N ,

you could use this job  - Run Detective Rules and Take Action (DETECTIVEPROVISIONINGRULESJOB)

Thanks,

Amit

  • Below are ways to run Technical rules
    • User Import (UI/Job/Manual File Import/Schema Import)
    • Running from technical Job
    • API

our requirement is whenever an user is imported into saviynt we need to provison AD account ( we have provisioned AD acc ) and after AD provisioning Exchange account needs to be provisioned. But exchange we need to trigger rule without using any flag / re run technical rule from update rule / detective provisioning job.

We have Sav4Sav connection but it will make our task more complex as we have many things to configure, so is there a way to achieve this through rule can someone suggest me any idea or share some references?

Thanks
Srinivas N

  • You can make exchange account processing delay after 1 day so iit will not need flags
