Saviynt asks to change the password and setup the security question at the first login. Can we disable this feature. Since we have enabled the SSO (using Okta) so we don't require this feature.

Please suggest.

for password you can make PASSWORDEXPIRED - as false in users property

Hi Rushi,

The security questions are disabled now as you suggested.

We have set the PASSWORDEXPIRED as false for newly created user but it is still asking to change password on first login

Hi Vermark,

Making PASSWORDEXPIRED - as false in users property while user creation, should fix your problem. If this is not working please open a support ticket for further debugging this issue.

@vermark

Could you tell us what is the user creation source in your implementation?

Hi Sahaj,

Employees are created from Workday and Contractors from user creation form.

Hi @vermark ,

Could you please illustrate how password is being managed in your implementation. Since you are using SSO, i presume once a user is created in Saviynt, the corresponding account is created on IDP where the password is also set for the user.

In this scenario where password need not be set on Saviynt, you would need to validate the passwordexpired field value during user creation/imports. You would need to ensure that its being set as 0 by default.
