Hello Gents,

same issue as in the other threads:
https://forums.saviynt.com/t5/identity-governance/api-to-update-user-s-profile-image/m-p/41635#M2418...

travemole_0-1699258716083.png

if I update the user admin it works, any other user does not work. I wanted to post in the other post but seems posting has been disabled.

Any idea?

Kind regards,

Albert.

Hi @travemole

For other users what is the error you are getting when you are uploaded.

Also can you check from the Api if the image is successfully uploaded

Thanks

Darshan

Hi @Darshanjain ,

No error at all on the logs, it says success but later no image is displayed (I've restarted whole tool and even created a ticket to restart from backend 2 times).

Hi @Darshanjain ,

I've just figured out the issue, the problem is that ONLY the user itself can see the his photo. Is this a bug to be opened? the idea is that users can see the photos of the other users ... if not it makes no sense.

Kind regards,

Albert.

Person can see own picture only

  • User can upload own picture only with API
  • others can't see your picture even admin

Hi @Darshanjain ,

Thanks for the update, then it's quite pointless feature if the users cannot see other people pictures. But thanks anyway for checking.

Kind regards,

Albert.
