Campaign not moving from Launching state to Preview / In progress state.
This issue can happen when there are multiple campaigns in progress or the campaign has large data for review.
Update the ES timeout configuration to minimum value of 300,000. If the value is already set as 300,000 then the value can be increased in increments of 300,000 to max value of 2400,000.
To update the settings go to Admin -> Global Configuration -> Search for 'Time out'. Please update all 3 timeout configurations shown below:
Can you provide a query which we can run under extension queries to change the launching state of the campaign to discontinued?
@AshishDas - We do not recommend updating the status of the campaign. If the campaign is stuck then please increase the timeout value and the system should process the campaign. You can check the logs to see if you are still seeing any timeout errors to further increase the timeout config.

The campaign has been in launching state since a month now and it is affecting other resources too
@prasannta, The timeout values are set to max Limit as shown below, but still the campaigns are in launching state from 2 days.

Are you seeing any errors in log? Can you try creating a new campaign with smaller subset of data? Is this issue happening for a specific type of campaign?
Please provide more details to further investigate.
