Uploading Entitlement Owners Via CSV

Solution

 
Go to ADMIN > IdentityRepository > Entitlements and click on the Action arrow and choose Upload Entitlement From CSV. The Enter Details for Entitlement Import window appears.

1. Data File:

To upload a file, click the Select button and select a file from a file server.

The file gets attached.

The name of the file that you attached appears

2. Delimiter:

Select the delimiter used in the data file being uploaded.

The following options are available to select:

  • Comma

  • Pipe

  • Tab

3. First row as heading:

This option is used to specify, if you have included the First row as heading in .csv file or not.

The following options are available to select:

  • Yes - Select Yes, if you have included the First row as heading in .csv file.

  • No - Select No, if you have not specified the First row as heading in .csv file

4. Create Security System if does not exist:

Select Yes, if you want to create Security Systems in SSM if that security system is not existing in SSM, but is being uploaded in the .csv file. If you just want to modify existing Entitlement information and do not want to create new security systems when security systems are not present in SSM, select No. 

5. Create Endpoint if does not exist in the Security System:

Select Yes, if you want to create Endpoints in SSM if that endpoint is not existing in SSM, but is being uploaded in the .csv file. If you just want to modify existing Entitlement information and do not want to create new Endpoints when Endpoints are not present in SSM, select No. 

6. Create Entitlement Type if it does not exist in the Endpoint:

Select Yes, if you want to create Entitlement Types in SSM if that entitlement type is not existing in SSM, but is being uploaded in the .csv file. If you just want to modify existing Entitlement information and do not want to create new Entitlement Types when Entitlement Types are not present in SSM, select No. 

7.Create Entitlement Owner if does not exist:

Select Yes, if you want to create Entitlement Owners in SSM if that entitlement owner is not existing in SSM, but is being uploaded in the .csv file. If you just want to modify existing Entitlement information and do not want to create new Entitlement owners when Entitlement owners are not present in SSM, select No.
