Missing OnPrem_PAM_Template (On-Premise) connection type

Hi -

We have a PAM enabled environment and we're setting up on-premise workload for the first time. We should have these connection types, but they are not present in our environment. Is there something I need to do to enable these to show up?

@BrandonLucas_BF Thanks for posting your issue. Is this a new environment or an existing environment upgraded? Also, can you check if you have a connection type with name "On-Premise"?

Thanks

It is an environment that was upgraded from v2020.1 to v23.3 without CPAM, and then CPAM functionality was added. We have both a Dev and Prod environment that are identical with regards to that, and both have this issue.

There is no connection type of 'On-Premise'. I did test and I was able to create one, but it's not the same exactly as what I put in the original screenshot above.

@BrandonLucas_BF Thanks for the info. As you have created the connection type, you can now create a connection template by following the below steps:

  1. In Connections page, select create new connection and then select the connection type as On-Premise
  2. Populate PAM_CONFIG and click on "Save Template" and provide the template name as "OnPremPAM_Template (On-Premise)".

The latest PAM_CONFIG can be found here in this link Configuring PAM for On-Premises Workloads  (search for the "default JSON" on the page)

Here is a screenshot for reference:
