How to transfer/upload file to UNIX server through CPAM

We have onboarded few unix servers to CPAM and got one requirement to transfer files between the local workstation and the target UNIX server.

I know we have a proper documentation for Windows server (Interaction Between Local and Target Endpoints (Beta) (saviyntcloud.com)) but for UNIX one I am not able to find any such. Request to please guide us on the same.

Hello @Diwakar,

Currently this is not supported, thats the reason you are not able to locate the documents, would request you to log the idea for the same in the IDEA Portal.

Thanks.

@sudeshjaiswal If this is not supported then how to transfer/upload file to UNIX server between the local workstation and the target UNIX server that have been onboarded to PAM.

Do we have any alternative approach for this?

Thanks,

Diwakar.

@Diwakar : Are these on-prem servers or Cloud based servers like AWS EC2 instance or GCP Compute instance?

If servers are cloud based servers then one alternative for you is to transfer the file to cloud storage buckets and then download them to the respective server.

@Saathvik These are on-prem servers, so please suggest.

@Diwakar The alternative approach is to place the files in a network share (ex: NFS) and access them as required. You will have to make sure that the unix servers have access to the network share.
