How to make manually created Endpoint PAM Enabled and populate PLATFORM_TYPE value

Team,
When an endpoint is created manually how do I make them PAM Enabled and also populate PLATFORM_TYPE without using Custom query job which is deprecated in newer versions.
Two scenarios in this case
  1. Credential Vaulting Endpoints where bootstrap process is not supported
  2. Endpoints like AD, DB etc where bootstrap process is supported.
