Since upgrading our DEV and UAT environment to 2023.2 version AOB_RECON_ connections were created in our connection section. So if we ad 10 disconnected application, with no use of a connection in the security system, the update created AOB_RECON connection for those applications.
So my question is why are those connection created when they are not needed. It's just creates pollution in our connection section. Also can we just delete them? Those connection were not in 2021 version.

Hello @PascalMontreuil
To authorize Saviynt users to be able to view accounts & entitlements for a disconnected application, the admin can assign an SAV role at the connection level.

Also, we do not support the deletion of a connection. Alternatively, you can choose to 'Disable' a connection(A config at the connection page)

@timchengappa thank you for the reply, so my questions this, since our prod is in 2021. Can we place the same dummy "disconnected application" connection to our 100 + disconnected application so when we update to 2023 SAVIYNT wont create us 100+ AOB_RECON connection for all of our applications ?
Also, in 2021 version, there is no need to have a connection for a disconnected application and our test in 2023 with no connection identify also work, so what's the benefice to this, thank you.

When you upgrade from an earlier release version, EIC automatically creates new connections of the Disconnected connection type for managing the existing disconnected applications from Application Management. These connections are prefixed by AOB_RECON_.
You cannot use a dummy Disconnected Connection for your disconnected applications. These connections are required if you want to manage your applications using the Application onboarding framework.
