Workflow Auto Approval after N days passed

Hi Team ,

We have a requirement where we need to auto approve the workflow if there is no response in the workflow for N number of days .

Is this possible in 5.5 SP3.X

Please suggest

@AJ23494 solutions aside, what is the rationale for such a workflow/requirement ?

What access is being requested and being auto approved after X days ? Is approval really required then ?
