Workday 2.0 Connector Queries

We have used Workday 2.0 connector for security group and org role provisioning. We found couple of issue during testing. Appreciate the insights to resolve the same.

  1. What’s the logic behind the org role: organization combination returned by the connector? Looks like only already assigned combinations are pulled in by the connector. We would need all possible combinations of org role: organization combination to allow better management right? If it only gives already assigned combinations, we can’t keep assigning the new combination outside of Saviynt and use Saviynt only for existing combinations.
  2. Organization type is not pulled in by WD 2.0 connector causing conflict in org names from different org types to be not differentiated while requesting. Example: Germany is the value for both location hierarchy and Pay group. The connector doesn’t save org type anywhere for the ease of the requestor to identify the right org type. In fact, org type is not even pulled and kept in any of the entitlement attributes.
  3. Entitlement status not proper for org roles and security groups pulled. No matter, if the security group / org role is active or inactive in the target. All entitlements are being pulled with active status causing confusion in management.
  4. When org roles are assigned, how to enable the check box for update later dated assignments? What change needs to be made to the web service request to accomplish the same?Sivagami_0-1667468549789.png

Appreciate the assistance.
