User Notification email not triggered when Manager raises request

Hello team,

In our use case when the Manager requests access for their direct report, no email is being sent to the requestor/reportee. Emails are being sent if the end user requests for access.

Below are the WF and email template we are using.

Do let us know in what way we can make sure the emails are being sent.

Thanks,

Akhil

can you put this object in your email template and then try:

${manager.email}

Hello Abhishek, we tried adding ${manager.email} in the template but still not receiving the emails. The first email that we receive is of the second level Application Owner approval.

Thanks,

Akhil

Whenever request is auto approve. User will not receive notification

Hello Rushikesh,

Yes, the whole manager approval block is skipped, and no email notification is triggered, so is there any way so that we can send request submission notification to the requestee even for auto-approval case?

Thanks,

Akhil

No you can raise saviynt enhancement request.

workaround use custom jar & send email in such case
